EcoSave™ · EcoGen Energy™
Terms of Use
The agreement governing use of the EcoSave™ platform.
Version 1.0 · Effective 2 September 2026
1. About these Terms
These Terms govern access to and use of EcoSave™, an EcoGen Energy™ initiative. Version 1.0; effective 2 September 2026. Agreement is recorded by explicit clickwrap. Creating an account, browsing the site or continuing to use it is not by itself treated as acceptance of a new material version.
2. What EcoSave does
EcoSave provides an environment for households and businesses to understand electricity costs, build an energy baseline, complete assessments, review recommendations, track progress and, where supported, connect compatible measurement technologies. Features may differ by user, market, pilot stage, partner or device capability.
3. Your account and information
You are responsible for information you submit and for reviewing important bill, property, business and device information where EcoSave asks for confirmation. Do not upload or provide another person’s information unless you have authority to do so. Keep account access credentials secure.
4. Energy information is decision support
EcoSave insights and recommendations are designed to support better-informed decisions. They are not a guarantee of savings, lower bills, device performance, system reliability or a particular energy outcome. A change in bill cost does not necessarily prove a change in energy consumption.
5. Electrical safety and professional advice
EcoSave is not a substitute for a qualified electrician, engineer, installer, legal adviser, financial adviser or other regulated professional. Compatibility and electrical suitability can vary by product, installation and market. Follow manufacturer instructions and applicable electrical requirements, and obtain qualified assistance where appropriate.
6. Connected devices and Energy Zones
Connected-device functionality depends on verified compatibility, available APIs or protocols and the measurement architecture of the selected technology. Energy Zone or group measurements are treated as group data unless verified outlet-level telemetry supports individual-device attribution. EcoSave may change supported integrations as technologies and evidence change.
7. AI-assisted output
Where EcoSave provides AI-assisted explanations, support or analysis, outputs are draft or assistive suggestions for your review. AI does not independently make legal or electrical-safety determinations, authenticate evidence, declare compliance, approve a supplier or device, or make a consequential submission on your behalf.
8. Products, rewards and partner offers
EcoSave may present EcoGen Energy™ products, third-party products, rewards or partner offers where relevant to a user’s journey. A recommendation or listing is not a guarantee of compatibility, certification, availability, price or performance. Additional purchase, warranty, partner or payment terms may apply to a transaction.
9. Campaigns and partners
You may enter EcoSave through a partner or campaign. EcoSave™ remains the platform experience. Partner association does not automatically give that partner access to your personal energy information. Any separate authorisation required for data sharing, payment, public display or another defined purpose should be requested separately.
10. Acceptable use
Do not misuse EcoSave, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with platform operation, submit deliberately false or unlawful material, impersonate another person, probe security controls without authority, or use the service in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
11. Intellectual property
EcoSave™, its platform design, original content, branding and associated materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You retain responsibility for information and materials you submit. Providing material to EcoSave permits its use only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and administer the relevant service, subject to the Privacy Policy and any separate permission that applies.
12. Privacy and separate permissions
Use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. Terms acceptance is contractual and is separate from optional consent. Marketing consent, partner-data sharing, public display, device permissions and AI consent where legally required must not be inferred merely because you accepted these Terms.
13. Service availability and changes
EcoSave is being progressively developed. We may update, suspend or discontinue features, integrations or pilot functionality. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Material changes to these Terms will require a new explicit acceptance before the updated Terms govern continued authenticated use.
14. Suspension and account closure
Access may be restricted or suspended where reasonably necessary for security, misuse, breach of these Terms, platform integrity or legal requirements. You may stop using EcoSave. Account closure, deletion and retention consequences may differ depending on records that must legitimately be retained.
15. Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. EcoSave provides decision-support information and users remain responsible for decisions, installations, purchases and actions they choose to take. Any broader limitation of liability should be subject to qualified Barbados legal review before commercial-scale deployment.
16. Governing framework and disputes
EcoSave is operated from Barbados. Applicable Barbados law may govern aspects of the service. We encourage users to raise concerns with EcoGen Energy™ first so they can be addressed promptly. Any final governing-law, forum or dispute-resolution clause for commercial-scale deployment should be confirmed through qualified legal review.
17. Changes, versions and contact
The current version is shown above. A material change requires re-acceptance rather than treating continued use alone as agreement. Questions about these Terms: info@ecogencaribbean.com; Bungalow 3, Whitehall, Saint Peter, Barbados.
EcoSave™ applies a separation principle: contractual acceptance, privacy information and optional permissions are not treated as the same thing.
